some people don't understand quickly
they need you to explain, maybe two times before they understand. They're not PURE evil, they just don't know. Sometime because they never met anyone like you, or sometime because nobody dared to explain.

I really can't understand you if you think that saying something like in the top panel is somehow a result of ignorance rather than predjudice, and they shouldn't be called out when they try and make excuses.
Did you comment on the wrong deviation?
Well it's just to me, it looks like a bad depiction of males in general (( funny how most ftm don't like males, and don't understand how males acts when they actually wants to become males ) so it bothers me. Well, bother in a sense that it could have been done better, not that i'm traumatized by the comic, haha.
Also never really noticed any anti-male bigotry from FtMs in my experience, but meh. *double shrug* They don't "want to be" men, they ARE men, at least mentally. But yeah I figure it might be easy to develop messed up ideas about what cis men act like, seeing as they probably met lots of jerks over the years and could assume everyone is like that. It sucks when that happens, since people shouldn't become assholes just cos they've been treated badly. But i don't think the comic artist is like that, I hope?
I know the intention from the artist is good
but all I want to say, is:
GET OUT.

THE TERM CIS PEOPLE IS HORRIBLE, holy shit. I would never define myself by "cis" or "trans", I am me. If my profile says "MALE" I am male. Cis or not. Trans or not.
And if I think women are dumb, GOD, it's not because i'm cis, I could be a ftm and hate women.
Really, FTM don't mean anything, it's the transition from FEMALE to MALE. It's not a GENDER.
Once you've become a MALE you're no longer FTM. YOu're MALE.

To me it looks like you're overreacting a bit and being kinda rude. I mean we don't ACTUALLY live in a world where all cis men are sparkly unicorns who treat all trans men as if they were perfectly normal, any more than we live in a world where all cis men are assholes. So it's being a prick to say "GAWD, everything is FINE, stop complaining!" and assume the complaining person is saying "EVERY CIS MALE ACTS LIKE THIS" rather than just sharing thier experiences.
Other points: why should a FtM have to REPEATEDLY explain thier condition to the same people? Why can't those people use google..? Why is the burden on the trans man??
Why does a "real man" have to ignore injustice and feel no sadness about anything ever? Why does a trans man have to be MORE so?? Again- why is the burden on them to ignore harrassment, rather than making the jerkass stop harassing them?
How the FUCK is cis people a bad term? Noone uses it as a slur and it has no negative connotations, sorry. Its just a codifier to make it easier to talk about the subject, its only used when cis men are having a different experience to trans men. I mean when you gotta say "That dude who attacked me was cis, I think it was a hate crime" the entire point is lost if you just say "IT WAS ANOTHER MAN" I don't see why you're against trans people saying they're trans and vice versa.. how else would anyone know in this magical world where eveyrbody passes immediately and is perfectly accepted??

Also I don't imagine anyone seeing a trans, being OH YES YOU'RE RIGHT, and come back to their home, googling "trans", why woul anyone do that?

No, I mean.. what excuse do people have to ask that fucking "do you have a dick?" question? That's the issue- that people don't stop at "Oh what's a transsexual?" "It means a man in a woman's body or vice versa", they start asking ridiculous offensive questions. If you genuinely want to know "LOL HOW DO TRANNYS HAVE SEX?" then bloody google it.
Also there isn't really much excuse to not know what a transexual is, you'd have to be living in some really conservative christian neighbourhood and have no access to the internet..
